At first I was just a tad unsure about purchasing a yoga mat online because I am very particular about my yoga mats. I then waited a couple weeks to send a review just in case my Yoga Strong mat did not hold up well after giving it a good work over. Man oh man, am I ever glad I purchased this mat! It is my FAVORITE mat without a doubt. The texture is soft enough that I can slide my feet just a teeny bit when moving from downdog to plank, yet it is a solid foundation with zero slippage. The size must be just a little longer/wider than most as I feel like I have an expansive space on which to stretch in every asana. The colors promote a zen headspace. This is my heaviest mat in 24 years of practicing, but I appreciate its presence when I roll it out.

The mat is everything as advertised for me. It's comfortable and non slip, maybe a bit heavy when rolled up but it rolls out with no curled up edges!
